1. Who we are

PFL ("PFL", "we", "us") is operated by Greg Dalton, a sole trader. By accessing or using our website and membership service ("Service"), you ("you", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The Service

PFL is a digital cookbook providing recipes, meal planning tools, shopping list generation, ingredient swaps, and related editorial content focused on high-protein, high-fibre, low-net-carb eating. The Service is for general culinary and informational use only and is not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional before making changes to your diet.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when registering, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be of legal age to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • infringe our or any third party's intellectual property rights;
  • introduce malware, probe, scan, or interfere with the security of the Service;
  • scrape, copy, redistribute, or resell content, including using it to train machine-learning models;
  • misuse another user's account or impersonate any person.

5. Intellectual property

All recipes, copy, photography, design, and software comprising the Service are owned by Greg Dalton and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use within your chosen plan. No reverse engineering, resale, or redistribution is permitted.

6. Payment, subscriptions, and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the price shown at checkout, until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account; you will keep access until the end of your current billing period.

7. Free trial

New members receive a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically at the price shown at checkout.

8. Service availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
